Poinsetta Fundraiser 2014

It’s Poinsetta Time Again!

We have had two hugely successful poinsettia fundraisers over the last two years and so we will once again be working with Rekker Garden Centre in Ajax to sell beautiful poinsettias and Christmas mixed planters.

If you are new to La Jeunesse, just ask a family that was with us last year; the Rekker Christmas plants are of great quality and we have not been disappointed!

As always, all of the funds raised will go toward paying the operating expenses of the La Jeunesse programs for the year.  Our fundraisers are critical to our ability to continue to provide our kids with top quality musical education right here in Northumberland County and we really need your help!

Rekker Gardens offers poinsettias in various sizes and colours, as well as a tri-colour option (white, pink, and red together).  There is something for everyone!  They also supply beautiful mixed planters in 2 sizes containing a collection of Christmas greenery including the iconic poinsettia.  The larger poinsettias and mixed planters come in lovely decorative pots.

In order to make this fundraiser a success we need everyone to get out and sell, sell, sell!  We suggest that each chorister aim to sell at least 15 plants.  This is a goal and not a requirement. We need to have your orders placed by MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10th. For more information on submitting your orders, please refer to the detailed email sent. If needed, attached below is an extra order sheet. The plants will be delivered to us at Trinity United Church for pick up on the afternoon of Saturday, November 29th.

Poinsettias make lovely hostess gifts for Christmas gatherings.  Think about how much your grandmother, your aunt, the crossing guard, teacher, mailman etc would appreciate such a lovely gift.  Local businesses need poinsettias for their front office, store window, waiting room.  They could buy them from Home Depot or the grocery store, but why not support a good cause instead? Your neighbours would probably love to support the arts in our community.  Be creative!  We think 15 plants is an achievable goal!
